Data Engineer

 
Responsibilities
 
· Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing,
 
· Translating complex datasets into key strategy insight and powerful capabilities to the business,
 
· Collaborate with other teams to bring analytical prototypes to production,
 
· Generate actionable insights for business improvements,
 
· Keeping up-to-date with the latest technology trends, and doing AI projects with Python/R,
 
· Developing predictive models using various machine learning techniques,
 
· Collaborating with business and related parties for obtaining the best business results,
 
· Implementing new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models.

Qualifications
 
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.),
 
· At least 1 – 2 years of experience in quantitative analytics or data modeling,
 
· Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques, and algorithms,
 
· Using one of the following modeling programs effectively; SAS, Python, R or SPSS,
 
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical results to non-technical audiences,
 
· Curiosity, creativity, and an empirical mindset,
 
· Fluency in English,
 
· Open-minded, strong analytical point of view and problem-solving skills
