Import Cost and Offer Specialist


 
What You’ll Do
 
· Identify cost details via research of industry-standard methodologies.

· Preparation of new product offers and related costs.

· Sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with a freight forwarder, logistic provider & importer to constantly strive for the most competitive price and good service level.

· Monitoring the performance and KPI management or 3rd parties

· Complete knowledge of import transaction cost control and management, 3PL companies such as vendors, warehouses, forwarders.

· Maintaining relationships between customs brokers & bonded warehouses.

· Following and reporting the performance of international vendors.

· Stock control for customer performance, control of orders and costs

· Ensuring that all end-to-end projects among suppliers and stakeholders

· Complete knowledge of all documentation & procedure required during importation.

· Build trust and effective relationships with cross-functional teams
 

About You
 
·Strong analytical problem solving and negotiation skills

· Having a holistic perspective

· Good understanding of importation cost calculations esp on food products

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

· Strong skills in MS Office® Suite, especially Excel

· Strong communication and stakeholder skills

 

Minimum Requirements
 
· University degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics, International Trade or related areas

· Minimum 3-4 years experience in Importation and be in charge of cost management (FMCG background is preferred)

· Excellence Turkish and English communication skills, both written and verbal
