Job Description:
 
We have an opportunity for an AR Accountant to join our Finance team. As a Finance Team member, you will focus on Danfoss and its subsidiaries’ finance operations. You will work closely with a broad range of employees at all levels of the organization on the continuous improvement in finance operations. This position is based in Istanbul,Turkey.
 
Responsibilites:
 
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
 
Processing of collection activities from our customers,
Involving cash application activities by supporting AR shared service team,
Involving credit management operations for customers by supporting the credit management team,
Participating in clearing activities for each customer,
Managing cheque transactions with AR shared service team with postings on SAP,
Preparing AR-related reporting to Finance Manager,
Providing healthy collection communication with the sales, customers, and other stakeholders,
Following/getting receivables before being overdue,
Supporting subsidiaries on internal/external receivables and other AR topics,
Supporting shared service team on local bank-related activities,
Communicating with the bank in case of any issues,
Managing Direct Debit Collection process,
Monitoring and analyzing reconciliation activities for customers,
 
Background&Skills:
 
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
 
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field,
3-4 years of experience in a similar position,
Experience in a multinational company, with an Accounting, Finance, and Tax background,
Preferably experience in SAP ERP system,
Good understanding of local law and accounting standards,
Proficient in MS Office applications,
Meets the deadlines on time,
Sense of responsibility while being an open and honest team member,
Flexible team player with strong communication skills,
Native in Turkish, fluent in English,
Have no obstacle to travel,
No military obligation,
