Chiropractor

 
Requirements:
 
Bachelor’s Degree in Chiropractic or its equivalent from a recognized and accredited institution
With at least minimum 2 years of experience
Superior time management skills and the ability to juggle a large patient load
Ability to empathize with patients who are in chronic pain and a strong desire to help improve their quality of life
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a close-knit team
Must be in good physical condition and have the dexterity and strength to perform adjustments and manipulations on patients.
Excellent interpersonal skills in order to build relationships with patients
Must have DHA license or eligibility letter for applying for a DHA license.
For candidates employed in the UAE, he/she must be willing to transfer HAAD/MOH/DHCC license to DHA license.
 
Job Role:
 
Perform assessment by listening to patients’ concerns and reviewing their medical records
Examining the patient’s with full orthopaedic and neurological assessment
Use chiropractic techniques to diagnose neuromusculoskeletal conditions
Give additional treatments, such as applying heat or cold to a patient when needed
Work closely with physiotherapists to manage patients condition
Determine the best course of action during treatments and refer patients to other health care professionals if needed
Record patient data and keep detailed records of every treatment session confidential
Send for x-rays when clinically necessary
