Senior Java Backend Developer


Responsibilities:
 
· Passionate about innovation and use latest technologies to deliver in a cloud native scalable environment
 
· Design, develop, deploy, operate and improve important software solutions that impact our customers
 
· Deliver bug free and fully functional features and products that are well tested and based on user requirements.
 
Skills and Experience:
 
· Educational background in computer science, or other similar quantitative field
 
· Years of industry experience as a Software Developer working mainly with Java
 
· Solid software engineering skills for prototype development and the implementation of experimental setups
 
· Experience with Java 8, and relational as well as NoSQL databases. On top of this a familiarity with containerisation technologies, in particular Docker and Kubernetes. Experience or familiarity on popular frameworks or concepts such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Git, RESTful.
 
· Understand the properties of large scale distributed systems and have proven track in building and delivering mission critical, 24×7 production software systems
 
· Unit testing & mocking frameworks are familiar concepts to you
 
· Practical knowledge of Azure Cloud, CI/CD and are not afraid of deploying and operating your application.
 
· Ability and a strong interest in translating business requirements into technical solutions while using best practices.
