Job Description:
 
DAF Energy was founded in 2009 with Turkish capital and joined the Danfoss structure in the last quarter of 2015. Therefore, national brand strength and global recognition of Danfoss have been combined in power in the Turkish market with its new DAF by Danfoss identity. We are currently looking for a Quality Engineer in İstanbul to join our team.
 
Responsibilites:
 
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
 
Collaborating with the upper management team to set quality benchmarks and aggregate local quality data(monitor and act on local KPI’s),
Creating local instructions/documentation in accordance with Danfoss corporate and industry standards that meet customer expectations,
Identifying/setting quality control processes to ensure criteria are met at all times,
Becoming a link and a part of an international team that started factory transformation to prepare it for SAP implementation and IATF certification,
Executing tests to check final product adherence to the company standards,
Recording findings and relaying this information to the production team,
Participating in cost down decisions and assuring no compromise on quality (customer advocate role),
Overseeing production to ensure conformity in the final product processing,
 
Background&Skills:
 
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
 
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering,
5 years of experience in a production processing environment as a Quality Engineer or Manager,
Experienced in a manufacturing environment,
Ability to understand the foundation of QMS,
Knowledge and experience in automotive industry quality standards and processes (IATF 16949:2016),
Proven record on practice with APQP processes and solid practical use of Quality Core Tools (SC,FMEA,CP,MSA,SPC etc.),
Fluent operation in MS Office Programs,
Ability to positively influence others,
Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player,
Native in Turkish and fluent in English,
