Manager

We are seeking for a Manager for our newly established enterprise project
management office here in Zurich Insurance Turkey. The Manager will report to and
work with the Strategy, Marketing and Project Management Coordinator to establish
the project management office and manage projects of Zurich Insurance Turkey.

What is Expected from This Role?

– Manage the pre-assessment phase for project requests coming from different functions and
prioritize projects considering strategic priorities of Zurich Insurance Turkey.
– Create clear, concise and realistic project plans, and organize project teams accordingly.
– Ensure projects are completed on time, project team members respect the deadlines-set and IT
resources are efficiently utilized.
– Establish a reporting mechanism to effectively monitor progress on projects and provide regular
updates to Zurich Insurance Turkey’s Executive Committee.
– Follow-up and assess the actual monetary and non-monetary gains from each project, once the
project is completed.

What Are the Desired Experience and Skills?

– 7+ years of professional experience with an excellent track record in roles with relevant exposure.
– A degree with strong academic track record from business administration, economics or
engineering departments of leading universities.
– Outstanding communication and negotiation skills as well as a multi-tasking personality for
proper coordination of the projects.
– Project management experience in management consulting is an asset.
– Experience in insurance industry is an asset.
– Capability to easily grasp the big picture, with the ability to comfortably deal with details where
needed.
– Commercial & strategic mindset with self-motivated and results-driven approach.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– High proficiency in Powerpoint and Excel, proficiency in project management tools and concepts
is preferred.
– Excellent command of English.
